肝细胞癌准确的分期决定肝癌的最佳治疗模式和判断预后。该文综合分析了目前国际上肝细胞癌常用的7种分期系统包括Okuda分期、美国癌症联合协会和国际抗癌联盟TNM分期、意大利肝癌研究组 CLIP分期、法国评分法、巴塞罗那肝癌小组BCLC分期、日本联合分期、香港中文大学预后指数等的特点及其局限性。提出针对肝细胞癌治疗及预后判断可利用的评价系统，便于与国外同类数据相比较，并希望借鉴其中的要点内容，建立我国普遍使用的分期标准。
A accurate staging system for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) should address all of these issues to help predict survival outcomes and decide optimal treatment strategies.In this review article,currently available integrated staging systems including the Okuda classification,the American Jiont Committee on Cancer and International Union on Against Cancer TNM stage (TNM),the Cancer of the Liver Italian Program (CLIP),the French classification,the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC),Japan Integrated Scoring (JIS),Chinese University Prognostic Index (CUPI) are presented,and their characteristics and applicability for current HCC patients are assessed.This will be important for us to use those classifications rationally when we treat HCC patients and analysis prognostic evaluation system,and also facilitate to compare with similar foreign data.We hope to establish a new staging systems for common use in China based on other currently classification systems.
