Abstract: Anal sinusitis is a common clinical condition in proctology, primarily involving infection of the anal glands and anal sinuses. Its main clinical manifestations include pain, anal heaviness, and increased secretions. Due to its unique anatomical characteristics, it is prone to recurrent episodes, and delayed intervention can easily lead to perianal abscess formation. Traditional treatments mainly consist of conservative therapy and surgical intervention, but clinical efficacy remains suboptimal. Based on this, this paper introducd the pathogenesis of anal sinusitis, analyzed the limitations of conservative treatment, and reviewed the clinical research progress of anal sinus excision and decompression combined with Puji hemorrhoid suppository in the treatment of anal sinusitis.
