Abstract: 【Abstract】 Objective Through a retrospective study to compare anatomical proximal femoral locking compression plate(LCP) and proximal femoral nail antirotation blade(PFNA) in the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures applications and clinical efficacy. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed using between LCP and PFNA treatment of intertrochanteric fractures of 60 cases, which are divided into LCP group and PFNA group. LCP group is the patients (30 cases) early using LCP therapy. PFNA group is the patients (30 cases) late using PFNA therapy. Comparative analysis two operative time, intraoperative blood loss and surgical excellent rates. Results All patients in PFNA group was 10 to 15 months follow-up, an average of 12.8 months. PFNA group excellent rate was 83.33%, higher than the excellent rate of LCP group which is 60%. The difference was significant (P <0.05). The average time of surgery and blood loss volume of PFNA group are all less than LCP group. PFNA group found no significant complications. Conclusions LCP and PFNA fixation are all safe and effective method to treat intertrochanteric fractures. PFNA internal fixation have better efficacy, shorter operative time, less blood loss, but also safe and worthy of further clinical application.
