Abstract: Objective To evaluate the feasibility of artificial intelligence robot in the follow-up of patients after biliary and pancreatic day surgery. Methods A retrospective descriptive study was conducted to collect the follow-up data of 1 073 patients who were admitted to biliary and pancreatic day surgery from July to December 2018.The rates of telephone connection, complete index collection, and patient satisfaction were observed. Results The rates of telephone connection, complete index collection, and patient satisfaction of artificial intelligence robot in 6-month follow-up of patients after biliary and pancreatic surgery were as high as 95.62%, 83.79%, and 96.06%, respectively. Conclusion Artificial intelligence robots play an active role and are feasible in the follow-up of patients undergoing day surgery.
