Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effect of clinical nursing pathway on pulmonary tuberculosis patients undergoing pulmonary lobectomy. Methods A total of 100 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis undergoing lobectomy were selected from The Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen from June 2015 to June 2017 and divided into control group (50 cases with only routine nursing) and observation group (50 cases with clinical nursing pathway). The clinical nursing effects of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The awareness rate of health education (93.75%), smoking cessation rate (95.83%), compliance rate of functional exercise (91.67%), and satisfaction rate (95.83%) of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (83.33%, 87.5%, 79.17%, and 87.5%, respectively) (P<0.05).The time indices of the observation group (average time of leaving bed, hospitalization time, and retention time of thoracic drainage tube) were statistically lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).After one-year follow-up, the incidence rate of postoperative complications in the control group was 14.58%, significantly higher than that in the observation group (2.08%) (χ2=4.909, P<0.05).Conclusion In the case of pulmonary tuberculosis, clinical nursing pathway as a clinical nursing intervention remarkably improves patients’ awareness rate of health education, smoking cessation rate, compliance rate of functional exercise, and satisfaction rate, with less complications, and it is worth popularizing.
