Abstract: Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of needle knife elastic pricking method in patients with scoliosis. Methods From January 2016 to December 2018, 80 cases of scoliosis were selected and divided into two groups with 40 cases each according to the order of admission. The control group received routine treatment, and the observation group adopted the elastic puncture treatment using needle knife elastic pricking method. Comparisons of treatment effects were made between the two groups. Results After treatment, the angle of Cobb of the observation gronp was smaller than that of the control group, and the total therapeutic efficiency, the average correction rate, and the average height increment of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion After elastic puncture with needle knife elastic pricking method, the symptoms of the scoliosis patients are obviously alleviated; therefore, the method deserves clinical promotion.
