Application of focused solution mode in patients with lumbar osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of focused solution mode on the time of first off-bed and psychological state of patients with lumbar osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 56 patients with lumbar osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture who received routine nursing from March 2018 to March 2019 (control group) and 56 patients who received focused solution mode nursing from April 2019 to March 2020 (observation group). The time of getting out of bed for the first time after operation and the changes of psychological state before nursing and at discharge were compared of patients in the two groups. Results The time of first off-bed and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05); at discharge, the anxiety and depression scores of both groups were lower than those before nursing, and the observation group showed lower scores than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Focused solution mode can shorten the time of first off-bed and hospitalization time, as well as improve the psychological state of patients with lumbar osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture.
