Precise liver resection era is coming.Various techniques of liver parenchymal transection have been introduced,including the finger fracture technique,clamp-crush method,Cavitron ultrasonic surgical aspirator (CUSA),waterjet,TissueLink,Ligasure,radio frequency dissection sealer and the Peng’S multifunction operative dissector.Precise hepatectomy much more focus on rapid fine liver parenchymal transection,minimizing blood loss during operation,fast recovery,optimal outcome after surgery and long-term survival.With advances of modern science and technology,Precise hepatectomy surely have broadened application prospects.
