Objective To study the advantage of ultrasound-guided injection for the treatment of rotator cuff calcifying tendinitis. Methods From June 2012-2012 December,20 cases of rotator cuff calcifying tendinitis were treated with ultrasound-guided injection in the orthopedic clinic of our hospital. All the patients were followed-up.All the Results were analyzed statistically. Results 20 patients were followed up and at the last follow-up all the patients were evaluated with ASES score,Constant-Murley score. The preoperation scores and postoperation scores were different significantly (P<0.01).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided injection therapy is a safe and effective method for rotator cuff calcifying tendinitis, for the injection site can be located accurately.
