Abstract

Fluorescence-guided surgery (FGS) is a technique that is applied in clinical practice progressively, especially in the field of urology, due to the advantages of high resolution, safety, and operability. The review is aimed at explaining the basic principles and development history of FGS, and discussing current status and prospects of fluorescent tracers in urology. The emerging technology of FGS can help effectively improve the accuracy of surgical resection of lesions while reduce postoperative adverse effects, contributing to achieving the goal of precision medicine.
