Abstract: Objective To analyze the wound healing time and clinical safety of moist exposed burn ointment in anal fistula patients. Methods A total of 100 anal fistula patients treated from April 2015 to April 2018 were selected and grouped by random number table method, with 50 cases in each group.Group one applied moist exposed burn ointment; Group two applied petrolatum gauze. The wound healing time, pain scores, patient’s satisfaction, and clinical safety were probed. Results The anal pain scores (2.97±0.25), wound exudation [(8.12±0.81) d], and healing days [(16.57±1.52) d] in Group one were reduced compared with Group two [(4.63±0.44), (12.63±1.57) d, (24.77±2.53) d; t=23.195, 18.052,19.645] (P<0.05); the incidence rate of complications in Group one (2.00%) was significantly lower than that in Group two (14.00%) (χ2=4.891, P<0.05); the patient’s satisfaction rate in Group one (98.0%) was significantly higher than that in Group two (84.0%) (χ2=5.983,P<0.05).Conclusion The moist exposed burn ointment can shorten wound healing time, relieve pain, shorten wound exudation time, reduce the incidence rate of complications, and increase patient’s satisfaction, thus worthy of clinical application and promotion.
