Abstract: Femoral neck fracture in young adults are the result of high-energy injury, the oblique fracture line or the short spiral often accompanied by the comminution of the posterior cortex. Posterior comminution is an important cause of unstable fixation. The comminution defects are easy to cause fracture delayed union, nonunion and avascular necrosis of femoral head. The femoral neck fractures with posterior comminution in young adults is still a clinical problem. Fracture reduction techniques and internal fixation devices have made a lot of progress in recent years.
