Objective To study the value of electronic rectosigmoidoscope in physical examination，and analyze#br# the result. Methods From March 2014 to May 2015，451 subjects （30-80 years old，302 males，149 females）#br# underwent electronic rectosigmoidoscopic examination during physical examination，and the findings were#br# retrospectively analyzed. Results Of 451 cases，suspicious diseases were detected in 382 cases. The detectable rates of#br# rectal polyp，hypertrophy of anal papilla，hypertrophy of anal papilla，proctitis，haemorrhoids，melanosis coli，anal canal#br# moles，and others（anal fissure，anal fistula，and anal canal inflammation）were 35%（158/451），23.7%（107/451），3.7%#br# （17/451），37.7%（170/451），34.69%（156/451），0.7%（3/451），0.4%（2/451）and 2.7%（12/451），respectively. Besides，#br# 7 cases（1.5%）with tumor need for further examination. Conclusion Electronic rectosigmoidoscope is better than#br# digital rectal examination，and can be widely used in physical examination because of easy control and affordable cost.
