Abstract: As a serious blinding eye disease, fungal keratitis (FK), often tends to invade into deep corneal stroma. Clinically, the main antifungal treatments are through the oral and intravenous systemic administrations, combined with locally used antifungal eyedrops. But these treatment pathways are often has a poor effects for some intractable FK patients. Recently, directly intraconeal stroma injection of antifungal drugs has been revealed having a good clinical efficacy, even for the intractable cases. In this paper, this new treating method was reviewed.
