Abstract: Objective:To observe the tension-free herniorrhaphy in the treatment of inguinal incarcerated hernia. Method:100 patients with inguinal incarcerated hernia treated from April 2013 to March 2014 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into study group and control group, 50 cases each group. The study group adopted the tension-free herniorrhaphy; the control group adopted the conventional herniorrhaphy. The clinical index like medical cost, hospitalization time, time of leaving bed, operation time as well as incidence of postoperative complications of two groups was compared. Result: The clinical index like medical cost, hospitalization time, time of leaving bed and operation time of study group was significantly better than that of control group (P＜0.05); the incidence rate of complications like low-grade fever, hydrocele of testes, incision infection, uroschesis of study group was significantly lower than that of control group (P＜0.05); Conclusion:The tension-free herniorrhaphy is easy to operate, has an obvious effect in the treatment of inguinal incarcerated hernia and has fewer postoperative complications and fast recovery. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
