Abstract: Objective To evaluate the cIinical efficacy of sclerotherapy with stylolitic suture and inside constrictor cut in the treatment of rectocele.Methods A total of 64 patients with rectocele were allocated randomizedly to the study group and the control group.The study groups (32 cases) received sclerotherapy with styIoIitic suture and inside constrictor cut ,the controI group (32 cases) received the operation of rectum incision and repair.The treatment effect and complications were compared between the groups.Results Score on symptom was lower in the study group than in the control group.The treatment effect was simiIar in the two groups.Conclusion Sclerotherapy with stylolitic suture and inside constrictor cut is a simpIe and effective method for the treatment of rectocele.
