Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical effect of small incision negative pressure drainage combined with irrigation treatment on perianal abscess. Methods A total of 100 patients with perianal abscess from January 2021 to June 2021 were selected and divided into a combined group and a conventional group according to the patient's choices, with 50 patients in each group. The combined group received small incision negative pressure drainage combined with irrigation treatment, while the conventional group received incision drainage treatment. Comparisons were made in the treatment outcomes, quality of life scores before and 4 weeks after surgery, and the incidence of complications 6 months after surgery between the two groups of patients. Results The total effective rate of the combined group （94.00%） was higher than that of the conventional group （78.00%） （P<0.05）. After surgery, the WHO QOL-BREF scores of both groups of patients were improved compared to before surgery, and the combined group scored higher than the conventional group （P<0.05）; The total incidence of complications in the combined group （2.00%） was lower than that in the conventional group （16.00%） （P<0.05）. Conclusion Small incision negative pressure drainage combined with irrigation treatment can effectively improve clinical treatment effectiveness, reduce complications, and improve patient quality of life for patients with perianal abscess.
