Abstract: Objective To investigate the current situation of laboratory equipment sharing in public hospitals, and explore the strategy of laboratory equipment sharing in public hospitals. Methods Questionnaire survey and expert interview were used to study the sharing strategy of laboratory equipment in public hospitals. Results There were many problems in the sharing management of laboratory equipment, such as repeated purchase of laboratory equipment, severe privatization, and weak awareness of sharing management. Based on theoretical foundations, measures such as reasonable allocation of laboratory equipment, improvement of sharing platform systems, strengthening the construction of specialized management teams for laboratory equipment, and improvement of performance evaluation systems were proposed to build an information management system for laboratory equipment. Conclusion Sharing of laboratory equipment improves the efficiency of hospital laboratory equipment use, optimize the allocation of scientific and technological resources, enhance the overall management quality level, and promote high-quality innovative development of the hospital.
