Abstract: Objective To compare the positioning accuracy of left double-lumen endobronchial tubes by bronchial cuff pressure method and fiberoptic bronchoscopy. Methods A total of 100 patients with single lung ventilation surgery were randomly divided into two groups, with 50 cases in each group. The position of double-lumen endobronchial tubes was assessed by bronchial cuff pressure method and fiberoptic bronchoscopy respectively after double-lumen bronchial intubation. Results The positioning accuracy rate of fiberoptic bronchoscopy (100%) was significantly higher than that of bronchial cuff pressure method (88%, P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in complications after intubation (P>0.05).Conclusion The bronchial cuff pressure method is simple and practical, with high positioning accuracy and low complications.
