Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of intraperitoneal perfusion during laparoscopic radical gastrectomy on advanced gastric cancer. Methods Eight two patients with advanced gastric cancer undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy were randomly divided into a control group (n=41) and an observation group (n=41) by random number table method. The control group received laparoscopic radical gastrectomy only, and the observation group received laparoscopic radical gastrectomy and intraoperative intraperitoneal perfusion. The therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative drainage time, hospitalization time, and disease recurrence rate after 12 months of the observation group were shorter and lower than those of the control group (P<0.05); but no significant differences in operation time, intraoperative blood loss volume, postoperative exsufflation time, postoperative complication and side effect rates, and disease recurrence after 6 months were observed between the two groups. Conclusion Intraperitoneal perfusion during laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for advanced gastric cancer is safe and effective, can shorten hospitalization time and delay recurrence, and is worth promoting.
