Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical features and treatment of chest trauma in elderly patients. Methods Data of 156 over-60-year-old elderly people with chest trauma were reviewed retrospectively. Results Traffic accident injury and fall injury were the most common causes(80.1%),more complications and higher mortality rate(5.8%).Conclusions Elderly chest trauma is usually critical in varied and complex conditions,we must try interdisciplinary cooperation and comprehensive treatment.
