Advances in coronary slow flow

Abstract: Coronary slow flow (CSF) refers to a phenomenon of delayed distal vessel opacification in normal or near-normal epicardial coronary artery (stenosis<40%) when contrast agents are used in coronary angiography.CSF is associated with acute myocardial infarction, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, and even sudden cardiac death.More than 80% of patients experiencing recurrent chest pain, leading to a serious decline in the quality of life.This article reviewed the possible pathogenesis, clinical features, prognostic factors, and therapeutic progress of CSF.
