Abstract: The breaking of ankle and or subtalar joint would lead to pain and functional limitation of the foot.The tibiotalocalcaneal arthrodesis(TTCA) refers to the tibiotalar joint and subtalar joint,simultaneously with the joint repair and integration,easing the pain of the foot and ankle to maintain stability.There are multiple materials with tibiotalocalcaneal arthrodesis,such as screws,external fixation,intramedullary nail and blade plate.It is important that suitable method of this operation should be selected. It is the objective of arthrodesis development to achieve a higher satisfaction rate for patients by adopting the simple technology,keeping the outstanding stability,reaching the higher healing rate and reducing the soft tissue damage and complications to maximal extent.
