Abstract: Objective To study and analyze the clinical efficacy of uterine harness suture in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section and its impact on intraoperative bleeding and ambulatory time. Methods A total of 120 cesarean section women admitted were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to treatment methods, with 60 cases in each group. The control group used water sac compression hemostasis, while the observation group used uterine strap suture. The clinical efficacy of two methods in treating postpartum hemorrhage, as well as their impacts on intraoperative bleeding volume and out-of-bed activity time were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group (96.66%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (83.33%) (P<0.05). The intraoperative bleeding volume and out-of-bed activity time in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (3.34%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (16.68%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Uterine strap suture can reduce intraoperative bleeding and shorten the time to get out of bed, and has a good effect on postpartum hemorrhage.
