Abstract: Objective To observe the difference in curative effects between surgical treatment and conservative treatment on distal radius fracture.Methods The hospitalized patients with distal radius fractures were randomly divided into a conservative treatment group and a surgical treatment group.Comparisons in the pain levels of fracture site and ulnar wrist and the medical imaging evaluation results were made between the two groups.Results The surgical treatment group showed a lower score of VAS pain in fracture site and ulnar wrist and a higher excellent and good rate of imaging evaluation than the conservative group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Surgical treatment for distal radius fractures is more effective than conservative treatment,with less postoperative pain and improved fixation effect,thus is worthy of clinical promotion.
