Research progress on postpartum stress urinary incontinence treated by traditional Chinese medicine

Abstract: Postpartum stress urinary incontinence is an involuntary urine outflow through urethra in women with postpartum abdominal pressure increase, which seriously affects women's physical and mental health and quality of life. This paper summarized and analyzed the research progress on postpartum stress urinary incontinence treated by traditional Chinese medicine from the aspects of etiology and pathogenesis, traditional Chinese materia medica treatment, acupuncture treatment, and other external treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine combined with rehabilitation has a significant effect on postpartum stress urinary incontinence, but there are still some shortages in current research to be improved.
