Abstract: Objective To investigate the effects of predictive nursing on perioperative hypoproteinemia in patients with cervical spinal fracture. Methods Eighty patients with cervical spinal fracture treated from April 2018 to January 2020 were blindly divided into an observation group (n=40) and a control group (n=40). The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given predictive nursing intervention based on the control group. The changes of albumin were compared between the two groups. Results The levels of albumin in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group at postoperative 1 d, 3 d, and 7 d (P<0.05). Conclusion Predictive nursing for patients with cervical spinal fracture can effectively prevent the incidence of perioperative hypoproteinemia, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
