Abstract: Lower limb lymphedema (LLL) after endometrial cancer surgery is a common complication, and its main symptoms include painless swelling of the limbs, heavy lower limbs, and tension, which seriously affects the quality of life and increases the psychological and economic burden of patients. The advantage of medical technology has led a steady increase in the survival rate of endometrial cancer, with the expectation that patients will experience enhanced quality of life after receiving treatment, which underscore the urgent need for the treatment of LLL. The main strategies for the treatment of LLL include: nonoperative treatment (manual lymph drainage, complex decongestion therapy, traditional Chinese medicine therapy, and cellules musculaires lisses vasculaires) and surgical treatment (lymph venous anastomosis, vascularized lymph node transfer, resection of lesion tissue, and liposuction). This paper provided a comprehensive overview of the risk factors of LLL after endometrial cancer surgery and the treatment options of both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine.
