Practice of and study on MOOC applied in tutorial of nurse licensure examination

Abstract: Objective To apply the combination of MOOC with traditional teaching mode to nurse licensure examination tutorial.Methods Nursing students (Class 2013) from a nursing college were divided into two groups.The control group adopted traditional teaching mode,and the experimental group adopted MOOC supplemented with traditional teaching mode.Results The students of the experimental group showed higher satisfactory rates and nurse licensure examination scores than the controls.Conclusion The MOOC-based teaching mode can improve students’ interests in learning as well as nurse licensure examination scores and pass rates.
