Abstract: Objective To explore the value of intervention in the whole process of spinal surgery to prevent wound infection in patients. Methods A total of 500 patients undergoing spinal surgery from June 30,2019 to June 30,2020 were selected as subjects, and randomly divided into two groups,250 cases in each group. The experimental group received whole-process nursing intervention with immune monitoring, and the control group received conventional nursing intervention. Observations included the levels of immune cells (T cell subsets) ,immunoglobulins, pain scores, and quality of life in the two groups. Results After the intervention, the serum immunoglobulins(IgG,IgA,and IgM)of the two groups decreased, and the levels of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);the T cell subsets(CD3+,CD8+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+) increased, and the levels of T cell subsets in the experimental group was significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);the pain score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group, while the four SF-36 item scores were significantly higher(P<0.05). Conclusion Intervention in the whole process of spinal surgery can effectively reduce the risk of incision infection in patients, relieve pain, and improve quality of life. It is of high clinical value and is worthy of popularization.
