Abstract: Objective To explore the efficacy of endoscopic rubber band ligation combined with compound carraghenates suppository on stage Ⅱ and Ⅲ internal hemorrhoids. Methods From April 2022 to November 2022, a total of 60 patients with internal hemorrhoids in stage II to III who were willing to accept the treatment of rubber band ligation in Dongguan Shipai Hospital were selected as study subjects and divided into a control group and an observation group by the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with simple rubber band ligation, and the observation group was treated with rubber band ligation combined with compound carraghenates suppository. The incidence of postoperative adverse reactions and treatment-related indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The hospitalization days and treatment costs of the observation group were less than those of the control group (P<0.05). The VAS score of the observation group after treatment was lower than that before treatment and that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Endoscopic rubber band ligation combined with compound carraghenates suppository for patients with stage Ⅱ and Ⅲ internal hemorrhoids can shorten the length of hospital stay, reduce the cost of treatment, relieve pain, reduce adverse reactions, and ensure safety.
