Abstract: Abstract: Objective Discussion on reducing the incidence of complications in patients with cirrhosis of the role of extended care. Methods From 2014 in January to 2015 in January, studying in Gastroenterology of Shanghai Tongji Hospital for treatment of 80 cases of liver cirrhosis 70 years old, through randomized into experimental group and control group 40 cases, the experimental group after discharge tracking and tracing the patient regularly missionary guidance, control group treated with conventional in-hospital health education work. Analyzed at one year after the occurrence of complications in the two groups of patients. Result By extending the results of the patient care, has been in the experimental group improved referral rate within 1 year, compared with the control group was statistically significant (P <0.05); incidence of complications in patients 1 year after the experimental group decreased, compared with the control group was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Extended care can reduce the incidence of complications in patients with cirrhosis.
