Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical effect of large decompressive craniectomy on craniocerebral trauma complicated with intractable high cranial pressure. Methods A total of 86 craniocerebral trauma patients complicated with intractable high cranial pressure treated from April 2014 to April 2017 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 43 cases in each group. The control group adopted conventional bone flap craniotomy. The observation group adopted large decompressive craniectomy. The clinical effects in the two groups were observed. Results The recovery rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).After 3 months of surgery, the NIHSS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).The incidence rate of complications of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion For craniocerebral trauma patients complicated with intractable high cranial pressure, large decompressive craniectomy can improve the clinical effect and neurological function, and reduce the incidence rate of complications. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
