Abstract: Objective With the expansion of hospital scale and the development of medical technology, the usage of consumables in operating rooms is increasing year by year, and the problems of consumables management are appearing. In order to solve these problems, there is an urgent need to explore a new method of consumables management. Methods A medical consumables management robot was introduced to consumables management process in operating rooms. Results Some achievements were made, and problems of manual management of consumables in operating rooms were solved. Conclusion The research has confirmed that the medical consumables management robot could lift the working efficiency of operating rooms, strengthen the closed-loop management of medical consumables in operating rooms, and improve the satisfaction of medical staff and patients.
