Abstract: Objective To assess the clinical value of minimally invasive stabilization system in the treatment of complicated fracture of distal femur. Methods Sixty-two patients with complicated fracture of distal femur treated from February 2015 to February 2017 were selected in the study. The subjects were randomly divided into a test group and a control group according to random number table, with 31 cases in each group. The test group adopted an approach using minimally invasive stabilization system; while the control group used internal fixation with anatomic plate. Operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, and bone healing conditions were compared between the two groups. Results The test group showed less operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, and bone healing time than the control group (P<0.05). The excellent and good rate of knee joint function recovery of the test group (90.32%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (67.74%) (P<0.05).Conclusion The minimally invasive stabilization system has an obvious effect on complicated fracture of distal femur, showing shortened operation time and less body injury, which is worthy of clinical application.
