Abstract: Abstract Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of Niti-Patellar Concentrator NT-PC and kirschner wire in treating aged comminuted patella fracture. Methods: 80 aged patients with comminuted patella fracture in our hospital from May 2010 to May 2015 were selected. They were numbered consecutively and the first 40 cases were control group and given kirschner wire. Other 40 cases were observation group and given Niti-Patellar Concentrator NT-PC. Compared the operative effect and complication occurrence rate of the two groups. Results: After treatment, clinical symptom approved, operation time, blood loss of the operation, wound healing time, hospital stays of observation group obviously shorter than control group, complication occurrence rate of observation group was 7.50%, and that of control group was 50.00%, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion: The application of Niti-Patellar Concentrator NT-PC in treating aged comminuted patella fracture can shorter operation time and the occurrence of complication, the clinical effect is better.
