Abstract: Objective The aim of this retrospective study is to evaluate surgical outcomes of primary resection as emergent curative surgery for obstructive left-sided colorectal cancer.Methods 22 patients with obstructive left-sided colon cancer received emergent curative resection.Complication,mortality and hospital stay were analyzed.Results No death and leakage were found in these patients.Conclusion For obstructive left-sided colorectal cancers,primary resection may be a safer surgical option.
