    Abstract139)      PDF(pc) (1257KB)(1610)
[Abstract] Objective To enhance the application value of CT in diagnosis of acute appendicitis. Methods CT findings of 87 cases with acute appendicitis confirmed by surgery and pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results There were 87 cases of acute appendicitis,45 cases of simple appendicitis,28 cases of suppurative appendicitis,7 cases of gangrenous appendicitis,7 cases of appendiceal abscess. CT findings of 5 cases of simple appendicitis were negative. CT showed swelling of the appendix, edema of the appendix wall and the abscess of the appendix. Conclusion CT imaging is of great value in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.

Progress of the wrist nursing in patients undergoing coronary intervention from the transradial approach
    Surgical Research and New Technique    2017, 6 (1): 65-69.
    Abstract139)      PDF(pc) (1145KB)(966)
Radial artery access for coronary angiography and interventions has the advantages of minor invasion, less hemostasis time, improved patient comfort and shorter recovery time, which has been widely adopted in clinical practice. But due to the interventional puncture damage caused by the small size and the various anatomic variants of the radial artery, artery associated complication incidence rate is very high. The purpose of this article is to review the current status and progress of wrist nursing in patients undergoing coronary intervention from the transradial approach.

Research progress on graft selection in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
    FENG Jianhao, WANG Jiaqi
    Surgical Research and New Technique    2023, 12 (2): 125-130.   DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.2095-378X.2023.02.013
    Abstract407)      PDF(pc) (636KB)(652)
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the most vulnerable structures during sports and an essential anterior stabilizing structure in the knee joint. ACL injury can impair a patient’s ability to move, and if not properly treated in time, it often results in serious adverse complications like meniscal and articular cartilage damage, and even traumatic osteoarthritis. Currently, ACL reconstruction is the standard treatment for ACL injury, and the choice of grafts has a significant impact on patients’ postoperative functional recovery and surgical success. Autografts are the most commonly used grafts and have the most stable efficacy, but they have drawbacks like limited sources and donor-site morbidity. Although having greater adaptability, allografts carry a risk of immune rejection and the spread of diseases. Artificial ligaments are appropriate for those who must quickly resume their athletic activities, but they are technically challenging and have not been shown to be long-term effective. Due to the numerous issues with traditional grafts, recent rapid advancements in tissue engineering techniques are generating novel ideas for ACL reconstruction. In order to aid in the treatment of ACL injury, this article discussed the benefits, drawbacks, and clinical effectiveness of different grafts used in ACL reconstruction.

    Abstract355)      PDF(pc) (692KB)(1621)
The adult corneal endothelial cells (CEC) could not take self-renewal.The circumjacent cells enlarge and migrate to fill the vacancy after trauma.A normal endothelial cellular density and morphology are pivotal to maintain a normal corneal structure, transparency and refractive index.Traumas, surgeries and some metabolic problems may lead to irreversible results. In this review, the CEC morphological parameters,CEC function and redistribution in a variety of the situation were comprehensively reviewed.Hope it would provide a reference for the treatment of ocular diseases and the judgment of surgical prognosis.

Recent research of cell-free DNA methylation in ovarian cancer
    Surgical Research and New Technique    2016, 5 (2): 132-135,138.
    Abstract142)      PDF(pc) (1302KB)(448)
Ovarian cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in gynecology. In early stage, patients usually don’t have any symptoms. So when it was diagnosised, the cancer often had transferred to other tissues. And it always made bad influence to the treatment. Therefore, it is important to find new biomarkers which contribute to the diagnosis of ovarian cancer in the early stage. Based on other researches, the aberrant DNA methylation has been associated to the ovarian cancer, including the diagnosis in early stage, treatment and prognosis. The methylation of cell-free DNA which come from the tumor cells maybe a kind of important biomarkers of ovarian cancer. This review is telling about the newest researches and the use in ovarian cancer.

Clinical correlation between imaging evaluation of multifidus atrophy and degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis
MAO Min, CHENG Jiefei, SONG Dianwen
    Surgical Research and New Technique    2021, 10 (2): 88-92.   DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.2095-378X.2021.02.003
    Abstract151)      PDF(pc) (1691KB)(756)
Objective To investigate the correlations of multifidus atrophy extert with lumbar spondylolisthesis extert and Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) in degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis patients. Methods A total of 62 patients with lumbar degenerative spondylolisthesis were retrospectively analyzed in Shanghai General Hospital from February 2017 to December 2019. Each patient underwent lumbar X-ray and lumbar MRI examinations. Image Pro Plus software was used to calculate the ratio of fat-free multifidus muscle cross sectional area to total multifidus muscle cross sectional area in slipped segments and non-slipped segments, and a smaller ratio indicated more severe atrophy. Results The ratio of fat-free multifidus muscle cross sectional area to total multifidus muscle cross sectional area in degenerative segments was 5.5% higher than the value in non-degenerative segments of the degenerative lumber spondylolisthesis patients (t=2.826, P=0.008). The ratio in Ⅱ degree spondylolisthesis segments was 6.8% higher than that in Ⅰ degree spondylolisthesis segments (t=2.236, P=0.027). The mean ODI of the selected participants was (42.7±3.6)%. The degree of multifidus atrophy was positively correlated with the ODI value. Conclusion Degenerative multifidus muscle may be involved in the development of degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis. The degree of multifidus atrophy is correlated with the degree of spondylolisthesis and lumber dysfunction.

    Abstract212)      PDF(pc) (982KB)(1119)
The endogenous cannabinoid system (endocannabinoidsystem,ECS) consists primarily of Gprotein-coupled receptor CB1, CB2, endogenous ligands for AEA, 2-AG and inactivation system AEA hydrolysis enzymes system(FAAH). Numerous studies have shown that the endogenous cannabinoid system can play a neuroprotective role via complex mechanisms, such as the anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, regulation of neurotransmitter release, inhibition of calcium ion concentration and so on. This article is to review the protective function of ECS in nervous system.
