Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effect of nursing intervention on postural compliance of patients with vitreous silicone oil tamponade. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 50 patients with silicone oil tamponade in vitreous cavity from January 2019 to November 2019 to compare the effects of routine posture guidance and special posture nursing interventions. Results The duration of special posture in the study group was significantly longer than that in the control group at 1 d, 3 d, and 5 d after operation (P < 0.05). The incidence rate of postoperative complications in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The patients'satisfaction with nursing service in the study group was also significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Nursing interventions with special posture after vitreous cavity silicone oil tamponade could shorten the duration of special posture, reduce the occurrence of complications, and improve the satisfaction of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
