Abstract: Objective To discuss the nursing interventions for ICU patients undergoing invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring. Methods A total of 90 ICU patients with invasive artery blood pressure monitoring in our hospital were selected from March 2016 to March 2018 and randomly assigned to two groups, with 45 cases in each group. The control group adopted conventional nursing care; the study group adopted comprehensive nursing interventions. The incidences of complications of the two groups were analyzed. Results The incidence rate of complications in the study group (4.44%) was significantly lower than that of the control group (15.56%)(χ2=6.870, P<0.05).Conclusion Invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring is of great importance to the ICU patients, and comprehensive nursing interventions could reduce the incidence rate of complications and protect patient’s health.
